– Each fragrance in the Prorsum Collection is crafted using a new technique inspired by fabric weaving, reflecting Burberry's design heritage. Three signature scent notes are woven with a fourth: the raker. Created by perfumer Mathieu Nardin, London unfolds in elegant chaos: liquorice root absolute, patchouli extract, and a textured blonde woods accord to ground the scent. An orange marmalade accord – the raker – cuts through, evoking the British breakfast table. Just like the red ‘raker line’ in the House Check, this sharp, vibrant accord creates a distinct, bold energy.
